Prek Thnout
Prek Thnout botanical site is located separate from Bokor National Park. The site attracts local and global interest in biodiversity such as rare species and endangered species. The resort is about 30 kilometers west of Kampot, along National Road 3 and about 90 kilometers east of Sihanoukville (National Road 4).
The Cambodian Wildlife Rescue Organization (SCW), local authorities and the Bokor National Park Authority have fully supported the community's biodiversity hotspot. This tourist site is operated by local residents and revenue from guests. Tourism can help improve the standard of living of people in the area.
